Why Nexim TV

Live has no second take. So every signal has two ways home.

A match, a concert, a news bulletin: when the feed drops, the audience notices straight away. Producers cannot afford to chase three different suppliers for cameras, transport and distribution while the clock is running.

Nexim carries the signal from the venue to the gallery over two physically independent paths, runs it through master control in Milan and Rome, and delivers it to broadcasters over fibre, satellite or streaming. One contract, one team on air with you.

Two physically independent paths from the venue to master control, PTP timing, then distribution over fibre, satellite and CDN. If one path drops, the other is already on air.

Production

Mobile galleries and remote production, wherever the event is.

We bring the gallery to the stadium, the arena or the town square with OB vans from 4 to 32 cameras. Or we leave only the cameras on site and produce remotely, with PTP timing and low-latency contribution.

Contribution and satellite

Fibre where it reaches. Satellite where it does not.

Feeds travel over carrier-grade IP transport in SMPTE ST 2110, JPEG XS, SRT or RIST, in 4K HDR and over geo-redundant paths. Where there is no fibre, we use DSNG vehicles and the Sarezzano and Sassari teleports.

Master control and delivery

Master control that never sleeps, delivery to every screen.

Our staffed master control rooms in Milan and Rome handle monitoring, switching, ingest and distribution on an all-IP fabric. From there the channel goes to playout, to the archive or out to viewers over ArgoCDN.
